About us
We are Mike & Iris Down (I’m the one on the right!) a husband and wife team who have been travelling to the US since 1995. From day one we fell in love with the quality, variety and level of service that we have experienced and it is our mission to use this knowledge and passion to provide unforgettable holidays to fellow travellers through Low Country Holidays.
We are both golfers ourselves, currently members at Hexham Golf Club in the North East of England as well as at Caledonia & True Blue in Pawleys Island, South Carolina which is our US base.
We spend approximately 5 months each year in the US and have done since 2003 so there is very little we don’t know about golf in America. We use or time there to enhance our first hand knowledge as well as making sure that we keep on top of course conditions, resort quality and of course any new developments.
